Makeup :(

My boyfriend always wants me to wear makeup but I don't like doing makeup. I'm good at it and it enhances my features but I hate when someone asks me to "pretty-up" for them. It just annoys me and makes me feel ugly.
I guess it'd be different if I enjoyed doing my makeup, but I don't and I always tell him I would do it for special occasions or if we go out, but there haven't been any of that and I haven't worn makeup in months.
Well, I'm going to do it for him today since he asked me to yesterday but eh-

@resukill22 He always makes me do things I don't like to do. Like doing makeup or watching TV. I do them anyway, but it's a hassle.

If my husband ever said that to me I would slap him.
My husband tells me the opposite, he says I'm beautiful naturally and I don't need makeup.
Sorry your boyfriend puts you down in that way, it's awful. =(

Have you ever talked to him about that? Well, if he asks once in a while, I don't think it will hurt if you give in but if it's something he wants you to do everyday and it isn't your thing, maybe you should tell him in a nice way why. Guys are more visual so they like seeing girls dolled up. My partner likes it either way but prefers minimal makeup.

He wants to see me dolled up everyday and it's annoying to me. He can find someone else if he wants someone who does makeup everyday. I like my plain face. ;(

It is nice when I do my makeup but I hate doing it. I would rather be makeupless. Haha

As long as you're comfortable. Whatever suits you actually. Some people wear make up coz it enhances their appearance. In my case, I don't have that special skill.hahaha. it makes my face itchy and puffy too. Banes of having sensitive skin. But it's always helpful to know how to be at your most beautiful, whether by using make up or simply keeping it plain

I think he should be able to appreciate your natural beauty. I used to have a boyfriend that would always ask me to do my makeup when he and I go out, but that's because he said that he wanted me to look my best when I was around him. I like wearing makeup since I can express myself however I want to, but I also feel the same way as you in a sense that I would get annoyed if someone told me to wear makeup, rather than wearing it at my own will. It just takes the fun out of it. Makeup is something I enjoy doing for fun. If you need some inspiration, Pinterest is great! Or for me, I like to also look at makeup tutorials.
