An unexpected visit from my granddaughter

Her mom was working and the others girls were with their mom so she called to see if she could spend the afternoon with us. Of course I said yes. We went shopping and I bought her a few back to school things. She was happy about that. She is so appreciative of everything. She always thanks me for anything I buy her. We had a wonderful afternoon together. She just left to go home. Now I am going to go eat and then head out for my evening walk. Her visits always make my days brighter.

How wonderful is that? I do more with my grandsons than granddaghters these days since the girls all but one are grown but I enjoyed shopping with them.

It was a wonderful surprise. She was so worried about me when I was healing. She was a big help to when she can over to visit when I was healing.
