Warning: PayPal pinches

New one for me. Maybe way back when, PayPal assessed a fee. But not recently. Then today I transferred fifty dollars from PayPal to my bank. It took me a month to earn that fifty off Swagbucks. PayPal deducted 25 cents as a service fee. Not a ton of money. Not even bubble gum money these days but still, money. I did not get my entire fifty. So be aware, folks: you might not put into your savings account or your pocket a whole fifty dollar bill.

@rebelann Oh. I could, I guess, just cash out at 25 instead of 50. Thanks to you I will try that and see what happens. I'm just over 10.00 now.

That's why I love Bitcoin. It is much CHEAPER & FASTER than PayPal. In the Philippines there is a conversion fee (dollar-peso) plus P50 (more or less $1 depends on currency exchange rates) if less than P7,000 (more or less $200) transfer to Unionbank account and $5 if transfer to credit card or other banks. New partner is GCash MasterCard they said it's instant and no fee to withdraw but I haven't tried it. Fee varies on banks and card issuers. And not all local banks/cards can be linked to our PayPal account.

@JolietJake YES. In the Philippines, we use www .coins.ph I am not sure in the USA if you can transfer Bitcoin to bank thru www .coinbase.com
The easiest place to buy, use, and accept bitcoin, ethereum, and litecoin. Using digital currency has never been so safe and easy.

@sallypup it is a VIRTUAL CURRENCY or INTERNET/DIGITAL MONEY. The payment processors similar to PayPal is called Bitcoin Wallet Providers. Unlike PayPal, each country has their own platform (Wallet Provider) used to withdraw Bitcoin in local fiat currency i.e in the Philippines we use www .coins.ph and you cannot use it if you are in the USA. Most popular Bitcoin company in the USA is www .coinbase.com but I am not sure if you can withdraw the USD cash equivalent of Bitcoin thru Coinbase. The UK has www .WirexApp.com. WirexApp Visa Debit Cards which is available in many countries like Philippines, Malaysia, Chile, Israel, etc. but not in the USA and India. I guess www .xapo.com is available worldwide but Xapo transaction fee is quite high.
Xapo is the world’s most secure bitcoin wallet. Buy bitcoins, make purchases and send money anywhere around the world with Xapo's convenient, secure bitcoin wallet.

@TransOceanView. 25 cents timed a hundred or so customers would add up quickly.
