Hot Weather

We have been having some really hot weather this past week. In the 90s. It’s supposed to cool down some by the end of this week. I’m glad.
Fall is my favorite season, so I’m looking forward to a few months of more pleasant temperatures before winter arrives. We don't usually have really bad winters here in Virginia, but we usually do get a few cold days and sometimes a lot of snow. Last winter was VERY mild.
Now, that I’m older, I’m more aware of the weather forecasts because I want to choose the best day for running my errands. If it’s going to be too hot or too cold, I stay home.
I just can’t tolerate extreme temperatures like I used to when I was younger.
What about you? Do you pay attention to the weather forecasts to plan your week?
Of course, those of you who work away from home, have to go out in all sorts of weather, I would imagine.

I used to love summer, but not so much as I've gotten older. I think that I am going to choose fall as well. :)

The evening news said that things were going to cool down into the 70s this week. That sounds perfect to me.

I am always watching weather reports not just about my area but the country as it interests me.

I watch the Weather Channel all the time. I like to see what's going on around the worlds and they have some neat programs too. Like the Top Ten tornados, or the Top Ten hurricanes, or floods, or earthquakes, or volcanos. Do you like to watch those when they come on?

@IreneVincent I do not like the Weather Channel. I watch Weather Nation which provides constant 24/7 reports.

@JohnRoberts I don't think we have Weather Nation channel. I've never heard of it. I will have to check.

I have been, for the last couple of weeks, checking the weather forecast every day. I am ready for some cooler weather and I keep hoping I will see some fall temperatures on the weather channel. Here in Bama, it is in the 80s, but it feels like 90s.
