This orange rose is known as super star. As is the case with many names I do not know why it is called so. Talking about names I was creating a post where I had to help someone with wines that are made in India. I found this one KSRMA It is a popular wine and in fact has been awarded a medal in some competition in the USA. But I just could not find out why it was named so. Any funny names that you know, of popular products?

We have quite a few of these super stars in our flower garden. Bu we will have to wait to see them in their glory. Rains are not suitable for them.

Strangely roses wake up in my garden during the rainy season. This one is from my garden.

CIF I know it as Cost, Insurance and Freight. I was handling exports for a company and I used to quote cif rates (lol)

When I read your post the other day, I was sure that my mother had this rose in her garden, but I couldn't prove it. But a couple of days later I found a note she had written about her garden roses and this was indeed one of them. So we have it still!

Roses can live for many years if they are properly cared for.

Love the color of that rose. All I know is YSL, which is a much shorter way to say Yves Saint Laurent.

That flower deserved that name. I don't know why and I heard it first time. Anyway the colour is bright and pretty indeed.
