Jay Thomas played Jerry on Murphy Brown and Eddie on Cheers. These two shows I enjoyed watching for many years. He did many other roles during his time in entertainment. I heard him on the radio many times. I'll always remember his late night appearance on The David Letterman Show that so many people were talking about the next day. He will be missed and had cancer was only 69. What television shows did you see him on over the years? Did you hear him on the radio? Rest in peace.
