It wasn't a dog!

Earlier this morning, I took a walk around my neighborhood and because the air was fresher and there was less humidity, I decided to walk to the other neighborhood road that is real close by. I have walked in this neighborhood before and I knew one house had chickens and goats. And I know the owners keep them penned. Much to my surprise was when I started walking past the house, right across the road from that house, I see out of the corner of my eye something pitter patting in my direction. I thought it was a dog. But, I was wrong. I looked at it briefly and it was a Rooster! It was a calm and friendly rooster, and I thought he would follow me, but he didn't. He walked back into his yard and shortly thereafter, I heard him say cockle doodle doo! Never have I ever been encountered by a Rooster on my walks. Sometimes a stray dog may follow me. It sure surprised me!
