Hello Everyone - Here is a link to some of the latest Hurricane Harvey news and pix. Stay DRY ... -Gus-
As the sun rose over Houston this morning, police went to work to rescue victims of the flash flood emergency that left thousands of homes submerged in water.

@TiarasOceanView - We are OK here. Many are not.So far there has been rainfall over 30 inches, thus making things a bit damp. The grandchildren and their kids drove over to a newly-opened McDonalds burger place and brought some stuff home. I ate two burgers and four chicken nuggets even though I had just finished a great big pancake (from yesterday) on which I put an egg and some banana slices. One might think that I am either hungry or crazy - maybe both. Still raining and they tell us to expect another 20 or so inches of rain. That will bring us up to 50 (+ or -) inches of rain from Brother Harvey. If you need some water just ask.' -Gus-

Was thinking of you and all this mess in Texas. I think you must of sent some of the rain our way. It has been pouring non stop since yesterday afternoon. Stay dry and let us know how you are doing from time to time.

You are so right. You do have tons of gallons of water all over Texas right now. Here we get major rain storms and it can rain for over a week at a time. I don't ever remember in all the years here getting billions of gallons of water dumped on us at one time. I know rain here is heavy and strong and it can dump a lot of water in a few minutes. Just stay dry and try to take care.
