Conquering Pikes Peak

It was just a few years ago that the powers that be opened the Pikes Peak Highway to cyclists. Now, a 13-year-old has done the 12 mile climb to the top. In eight hours. On a unicycle. And he's only been riding a unicycle for three months. That is amazing. I have no desire to try it on two wheels, let alone one. More power to this kid. That is an awesome accomplishment!
On Sunday, Levi took on Pikes Peak, with mom following behind on her bike.

Yes it is! I like riding a bike but not to that extent.

@teamfreak16 I wonder if he will continue on conquering big feats like this as he gets older, that's awesome. My hat too (except I usually don't wear the either.)

Eight hours is a long time, especially on that climb.

How in the heck can anyone on a unicycle make that climb? This kid must have the strongest legs in the world. I can't imagine it.

@teamfreak16 The ability to maintain balance has to be extraordinary and to chug up steep inclines.

I know. It's not like the unicycle has gears to make it easier.
