Conquering Pikes Peak

It was just a few years ago that the powers that be opened the Pikes Peak Highway to cyclists.
Now, a 13-year-old has done the 12 mile climb to the top. In eight hours. On a unicycle. And he's only been riding a unicycle for three months.
That is amazing.
I have no desire to try it on two wheels, let alone one. More power to this kid. That is an awesome accomplishment!

I have no aspirations to try it, not even on two wheels.

@teamfreak16 I wonder if he will continue on conquering big feats like this as he gets older, that's awesome. My hat too (except I usually don't wear the either.)

Eight hours is a long time, especially on that climb.

I know. I probably couldn't do it on my mountain bike, let alone a unicycle.

How in the heck can anyone on a unicycle make that climb? This kid must have the strongest legs in the world. I can't imagine it.

@teamfreak16 The ability to maintain balance has to be extraordinary and to chug up steep inclines.

I know. It's not like the unicycle has gears to make it easier.
