Do you stay up late?If so how often?
We are supposed to get certain hours of sleep every day.
Some do stay up late and make up for the lost sleep by waking up late.
There are some of us, though we may stay up late do wake up as usual.
How often do you stay up late? How many hours of sleep do you get daily?

@silvermist I definitely try not to be sleep deprived. It does make things more challenging in those cases.

I never worry about what time I go to sleep. Like last night I couldn't fall asleep so I stayed up late and watched some movies and slept a bit longer this morning. Other times I go to sleep early it all depends.

I think if we are used to it,we can manage so long as we get sleep when we can.

Every night we don't go to bed til after 11 sometimes midnight and will get up anywhere from 9 to 10 in the morning. So to answer your question we get 10 to 11 hours of sleep every night.

@JohnRoberts Why only 5 hours is it by choice or because of your job?

Being retired, I go to sleep the same time every night, usually around 11:30 or so. I sleep until my body tells me to wake up. I get 7-8 hours a night usually. I meet my friends at the walking trails whenever I'm ready. Sometimes I'm up before the sun rises!

My sleep pattern is so off whack. If I feel like staying up late then I do. If I want to go to bed then I do. I don't really have a set track on my sleeping. Being the only one here I don't have to worry about waking others. Most days I am up about the same time but I have been known to sleep in.

I don't want to stay up late because I want to wake up early every morning to start my job. I go to sleep the same time every day. Just 6 hours of sleep is enough for me

I used to be able to stay up until the wee hours of the morning... but not any more. I was in bed by ten last night!

True.Staying up late gives us time to do many things. But we will not be able jump up in the morning to face the day.

I know it's really unhealthy but it's been years since I've had any decent sleep. I only get about 3 hours of sleep each day, sometimes less than an hour on really bad nights. I have problems sleeping. Not only do I have a hard time sleeping, I also wake up at the slightest noise. I guess my body has gotten accustomed to having this much sleep.

When I watch an interesting movie,I stay up late, or when I meet my cousins after a long time I stay awake. Usually I go to sleep by 12am . I cant keep myself awake after that. I get 8 hours sleep . Adults need maximum 6 hours of sleep and children need maximum 8 hours of sleep. When our sleep is disturbed ,we don't wake up fresh in the morning . Proper sleep is necessary for everyone or they might face serious health issues.
