I know there are alot of people on here that have kids here is something for you that you can make with your kids and I am sure they will love it. My question is would it work to use it on rocks?

No, this paint would wash out and not only on rocks, this mix is a temporary paint.

@Tina30219 It's hard to be able to make something safe that will last.

This would wash off of rocks, so although it might work it would only be temporary. Try getting an assortment of acrylics, or use nail polish that you no longer like. If you use acrylics spray with a clear sealer. You can also use sharpies and other permanent markers.
