Do You Believe in Fate?

I feel sad whenever I see people going to palm readers and make decision based on that. I believe that what the future holds for us is not definite unless we ourselves make the decision.

I agree, everything happens for a reason but how we deal with them depends on us and no one else's.

@Lucky15 Now I get what you mean, but I also believe that even if we are meant to achieve things, if we don't want it enough or work hard for it enough, then we'll most likely not have it. That's why I still believe that yes, fate has a hand in our lives, but still, where it would take us is still in our hands.

@mildredtabitha Yes I agree. The decisions we take and choice we make lead us to where our future will be heading.

@JeeyanDee yes. They are two different things but I believe our present actions will determine how our fate will be.

@Eriqueen Our future depends on the actions we do now and the paths we take at the present. What the future will be depends on the things we do now. That is the reason why everything we do at the present is significant since it will be the one which will dictate what the future will hold for us. For example when you'll be having an exam, if you decide to study hard, then you'll probably pass or get a high grade.If you do otherwise and decide to party instead of studying, you'll obviously fail the exam, unless you're a genius, or just very good at cheating. That is what I believe though and I respect you if you think otherwise.

How about if you're unaware? I too believe that our future is in our hands, and no one else's.
