Nonstop Electric fan

When my siblings are in the house during the weekends our electric fan ran nonstop. When they go to work I'm just alone I will start to open the electric fan at around 10 am straight until the night. I will just turn it off around 4 am when I'm awake. But at weekends it seems it's running all night and all day. Sometimes we even need two electric fans. We want to live in comfort. We don't care about electric bills. All we want is the cool air coming from the electric fans. Is it the same in your house?

Yeah I know the big difference of the temperature over there. It's really hot in here in the lowlands

@Shavkat We learn to adjust to the temperatures here. It's big adjustment if you use to live in the highlands

I care about electric bill, I turn on the fan ONLY if it's needed, surely not today because it's cold.

I wish the weather is always rainy and cold as I feel guilty seeing our electric fan running nonstop

@averygirl72 I had it running two days ago, but today it's cold, so no need of a fan.

When my parents are at home, they turn on the air-conditioner all day long. Even if they don't watch TV, the TV is still on. And they need to use the washing machines at least once everyday. In my opinion, it can have a little change. I am fine to wash my clothes by the washing machines for two or three days. And of course I will not let the TV on all the time, especially there is nothing interesting from TV.

It's very expensive here if you turn the air conditioner all day long. We don't watch a lot of TV. They don't worry about electric bills

Good thing electric fans are not really that high energy consuming. We manage to have lower bills despite running it nonstop in the house

We have no fans but the heatwave has gone I think. We only have air conditioning but I can't afford to switch it on if alone.

Air conditioning is very expensive. We can't afford it open all the time. Electric fans are cheaper. We don't pay that much even if we let it ran nonstop all day

@averygirl72 Yes, fan is much cheaper. We used to have a few in the old apartment, but here we haven't got any yet. Two of those fans were ceiling ones, so well, we didn't think of carrying them here.

We don't even leave the fan running, but also lights, sometimes air conditioner, computer as well, many time I leave my computer running till the morning, because some files need much time to be download, that's why I leave it running.

During the hotter times of the yr, if we are home and around we tend to run the Fan most of the time. But this time of yr it is cooler to where the Fan is not necessary as often.

Try considering installing an exhaust fan to blow out hot air, electric fans are not us efficient if it's blowing the same hot air and no fresh air is coming in. Our house has several.

@averygirl72 try installing especially in the kitchen and bathrooms, you will notice the difference, ACs work that way they blow hot air out, and blow cold air in the difference is air is cooled by a coolant like freon.

Not in my room. You will over heat them if you use them for the whole day. I have two fans, one is for morning until afterrnoon. This will save us here some electricity.
