Late Payment

I pity those laborers of one construction site, sitting long waiting for their wages from a work they have done the whole week. The management, especially the manager, knows that it's payday and their workers are out by 5pm. The money is already there but I wonder why will not they release it yet, they will give it anyway. Why not give their men what is due to their men? Irresponsible boss! This problem keeps repeating every payday. Some of their workers have already left the company because of such problem. I can not this to my men.

Not too good a Boss if he does that to them. Not far from me being here there is such a place and he pays them it seems when he feels like it but they donĀ“t leave and I can well understand their plight. Some of them are working six days a week. They should all get paid for such hard work indeed they should.

@moneychaser It also happens here like I say. They take advantage of the conditions of the men and pay them badly or sometimes not at all. Does not happen all over the place here but it does happen.

That's right.. My point for my boss is, why will he not give the wages of his men when this laborer worked hard for it, and their families badly need that little amount of their husbands' earnings. Too bad.

@lovinangelsinstead21 I also work with other companies at the same time and the best thing is that the other company gave the money in advance. I like this company when it comes to paying their manpower.

It is unjust of the bosses to hold the wages due to the workers.

Exactly... I felt it so badly. I was a laborer before..

Perhaps management is still computing what we Filipinos call the "vale " or advance payments that they already got, this slows down the payment process at times.

If that is the case, then maybe it's still bearable...

That is horrible, I would have a hard time working for that company if I had to wait for what I earned.

True.. I just couldn't understand the boss. I'd been there until today, about 12 years now, and it is really their sickness. I also work with other companies. If today is payday, you already have your advance since yesterday.

Before they know it there will be no more workers left in their construction firm. They should care of their men so they will care for their work.

Exactly. Your men will care for you if you know how to care for them.
