I bought these purple cornflakes on a whim

I do that sometimes, see something unusual, especially cereal and feel as if I need to try it (as long as it not one of those sugary things). Purple corn chips are good, so why not purple corn flakes? (Maybe the salt?) Well, I don't know why, but they just aren't. Now I recall that I never liked the plain old corn flakes anyway. So, I will finish the not too large box by mixing it with more flavorful wheat flakes and home made granola. Some whims are better than others. Do you ever buy new foods on a whim?

I didn't see purple cereal before. However, I wonder whether these cereal were mixed with purple potato, so made it purple? When I see something new, I do buy new foods on a whim!

I haven't seen purple cornflakes yet. Are they made from corns? Or they are made from something else like sweet potatoes?

I bought two strange and unusual sounding frozen pizza several weeks ago. They sounded okay....maybe different than my usual taste. We had one for lunch. The other is la gushing in the freezer. It really wasn't that good.

My special is Weetabix bran flakes - and Total, before it disappeared from the shelves.

Total is gone? Wheaties have been a favorite of mine since I was a kid (long ago). I have had Weetabix and it is pretty good.

I have never seen purple Corn Flakes. However a few weeks ago I succumbed to purple chips. To be honest I didn't think they were anything special at all and I think I'll just stick to the ordinary once in future. Somehow wrong coloured food never seems to catch on. They tried to introduce multi-coloured vegetables for children and it still didn't do the trick.

We often buy multi-colored fresh carrots. The red ones are very good.

Not often but on rare occasion. Your purple cornflakes look too good to eat.

Well, they are better mixed with other cereal and topped with plain yogurt.

I don't know if I'd buy purple corn flakes but I do like regular ones with banana and milk. Probably good idea to mix them with your wheat flakes and granola and make your own creation.

I have bought some food on a whim but I have never seen, nor would have bought, purple cornflakes. (I never really cared for cornflakes that much, either.)

Well, I like blue corn chips so thought the flakes might be okay, pretty tasteless though.

@JamesHxstatic I like corn chips too, but I would have to think about how well I liked cornflakes before buying purple ones.

Heard about purple colour corn flakes for the first time. I rarely buy food on a whim. I feel it's dangerous

Very occasionally I might buy foods on a whim. I think you read my post about the black bread that was coloured with squid ink. That was a bit different but I was happy enough to try it.

I bought some granola cereal but did not like it so went back to the the granola cereal I like. It looks like an Aoril Fool's joke to me.
