I am not sure if this is as common as it is here, but I have seen so much contruction going on around town, and yet there never really seems to be anyone working at the sites. I am by no means claiming to know what goes into these projects, but I would just think that people would be working constantly to get one done, and then move to another. Whereas here, I think they start them all, then just go piece by piece at each one. I know that is not the case, but it seems that way, and it is frustrating. Does this happen anywhere else?

Yes, I've noticed that as well. It seems they start all the projects at once which causes traffic jams but they only work one at a time and I have yet to see construction workers when I'm out and about and have to go through one of them. Drove me to drinkin so I'm stayin home so I don't get a dui

I know what you mean. I think they call that milking a job, making it last longer than it should. They do this on the road work they do in Illinois all the time.
