Yesterday i receive a phone call from my uncle asking me to give the phone to my father, i told him my father is not around, so he said , if he comes tell him that your grandfather has just ''joined the majority''. So i ask him, what does that mean uncle? He said just tell him that and cut off the call Some few minutes later, my father came in and told him that, uncle called and said i should informed you that my grandfather has just joined the majority. He cried out loudly and i saw ters coming out from the face, so i was shoked and i run to my mother to come and see my father in tears because it a superising thing to me. My mother ask and i told him, the message my uncle gave to be devered to him. she also started crying, so i aske, mama what does it mean, she said, your uncle is said, your grandfather is dead and was shoked. So has any one ever accross that proverb?

I am sorry for your loss. We don't use that saying here. We say, has joined our Almighty Father.
