Last Holiday of Summer

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. The pool in the complex was luke warm just as I like it and local musicians were there to entertain us. It was hot again so we didn't stay as long as we would have otherwise.
Now I'm dressed in my coolest clothes sitting on the deck Mylotting. I want to read more in Silver Bay, a book written by JoJo Moyes and write a letter to my nephew this evening. So, I'd better get on to answering comments.
I hope all of you enjoyed the holiday. We did. Remember it's the last holiday of summer. Make the most of it.

Aside from taking my dog for her walks, I went out to the backyard and did some much needed weed pulling and trimming. Otherwise, I have been working on Artist Trading Cards to--well, trade.

@RubyHawk They're little peices of "art" that people created on (usually) 2 1/2 x 3 1/2" cards, and--trade. I belong to a Facebook group that does it.

It was really hot yesterday in the Chicago area almost 90 degrees. Today we have a high of 67 and it's currently 58 out there. Strange weather here lately.

That's right, today is the last holiday of summer. It would of been my grandmother's birthday today. She would be 117 if she was still here. Happy Labor Day to one and all who celebrate this holiday. We don't have this holiday in France.

@RubyHawk We just stayed home, for the entire weekend. Nobody stopped by and Jay watched football most of the day. It was nice, not having to go anywhere!
