My 1st News article

This is my 1st news article in the local papers from earlier this year. Reported by Michelle Lynch of the Reading Eagle... you may not be able to read based on the picture but I can shortly describe the story. A while ago I was sitting in The Bernville Eagle hotel, which resides in my small hometown of Bernville. As I was sitting at the bar, I noticed a couple sitting across the bar, celebrating. They were crossing arms and sharing each other's drinks. This sparked a new idea like a wildfire. I flagged one of the owners down, named "Shanna". Shanna is a nice dark haired woman who defines the normal, pleasant family oriented type of person of Bernville. When I told Shanna about my idea for a painting she was dubious. She assumed that I had been drinking too much and that I had been bluffing. A week passed and I showed up with my donated painting and the owners, Mike and Shanna (husband and wife) could not have been more enthusiastic. The painting is now hanging at the restaurant/bar and the newspaper covered the story. While speaking to the newspaper I was urgent to give credit honor to my grandfather, a Korean war veteran, for being an inspiration to my giving to the community. He couldn't have been more proud, and I am so happy to have shared that moment with him and to have put his name in the paper. I showed him the article, and to see a man as strong as him cry tears of joy, really had hit me hard. This is what I am born to do, and I will continue to do so until my time is done! What re your thoughts on this story?

that was a great thing you did, not just for the hotel bar, but also for your grandfather.

I'm glad to hear that this story has touched your heart, and your thoughts on the painting as well! Bernville is located in Pennsylvania, it is where I grew up

If you have art inside your head and heart it is great to share it. I know someone locally who has a regular heating and air conditioning business, but paints very unique paintings. He does give them away often and it is like you, he is getting well known for his art. Good luck to you on this calling. Nice for your grandfather.

Sounds like he goes through the same struggles as well, factory entrapment and conflict of interest in the working world. It's truly dreadful, but I'm glad like myself, he has not given up and given into the pressure.

That is a cool story. Thanks for sharing. Where do you go from this point forward? You got your picture in a newspaper. You're on the art scene map now! Can't say nobody knows you.

Unfortunately, I will need to continue getting into newspapers to get the recognition I need to become a more successful artist. So far, I've been in 2 and a half newspapers... I say the half part because I was briefly mentioned at the bottom of an article. Which is a pretty good start... but I predict that I won't have much fame until I'm the papers 15 times

Great to see you working like a pro. You can also write the same quality content and have your own blog on wordpress and get audiences and get traffic and make some extra bucks.

That is really nice to donate a painting to get the word out there about his work of art. A very good idea.

Glad you enjoy my methods! I'm a believer in karma, you get back what you put out, and it was certainly true with my donation to the restaurant

That was touching. Just like your grandfather inspired you, you're given the chance to inspire others with what you do best. That was a beautiful story. It's not like I'm envious as you found out what your life purpose is or anything.
