The Weather had a Change of Plans

When I turned on the TV to look at the weather this morning it said the clouds were clearing and it would be a nice day today. I guess the weather had other plans. It's been raining off and on for the past hour. So much for it clearing.
Did you see the Harvest Moon? It was huge and beautiful this morning on the way to the pool. I wished I had my camera with me, but it was here on my computer table. Maybe tomorrow if the clouds are gone, I can get a nice shot of it.
I tried taking a picture of the rain, but it still doesn't show up as anything but a gray curtain. It's calmed down since I took that picture, but no doubt it's only for a moment as I'm sure it will be cascading down again in no time. I hope it has cleared up in time for Writer's Guild in a few hours. I really don't like rain all that much. It soaks to the bone and I get so cold from it. Especially this time of year when temps are already on the cool side. 57 F this morning and not supposed to get much warmer. Only 63 F.
Not a very nice day for the kids first day back to school. I tried getting a picture of a school bus, but that didn't work out either. I had it all set up with a nice closeup, and then instead of taking the picture, I accidentally shut off the camera, and it was gone by the time I had it set again. Oh well. Next time.

We have intermittent sun and clouds but so far no rain. Thunderstorms were predicted but who knows

It was very gloomy and hot all day yesterday. However the weather changed immensely today, very cool only a high of 67 and a bright sunny windy day.

@fishtiger58 I've always noticed it's 5-10 degrees warmer in the Chicago area than it is here.

What place is this is in. Here where I'm from is a sunny 80 degree day, partially cloudy but as I see it now, they're going away. I do also hate the rain because of the...I repeat in other comments lol...blues and depressed feeling but I hate it 100% not just a little bit lol. But my day is going great so far lol.

Today was great too and the weather is still holding at sun and no more rain. Looks promising for me because I have a ton of work to do in the garden after this last rain. Sprouted way too many weeds.

I can never see the moon other than during the winter when there are no leaves. I love moon watching but here it's impossible until winter. Of course if I had been out I might have. Hope you had a good swim in spite of the rain. It must be difficult to get a good picture of rain. I don't think I have one,.

@just4him Yes, those crazy buttons on our digital camera. One takes the picture, the other one turns the camera off! I usually hit the wrong one and have to start all over again
It's cool in Michigan, too! About 53 this morning and not much warmer this afternoon. We had a some surprise rain, also.
