Love at first sight

I have often heard people talking about love at first sight. Is is possible? I don't think so because according to me love is a feeling which grows upon you for someone with passage of time. Just an attraction and real love differ by miles. The only example that comes close to love at first sight is the love between a mother and a new born child. I say it comes close and is not a perfect example because a mother keeps her child in her womb for nine month and their love for each other keeps on growing with passing of time.

Which grows with time is habit of each other. It is difficult to differentiate whether it is love or habit.I believe in love at first sight provided it stays more than ,say , 3 months.

suppose you listen to a song and it seems just OK to you. You listen to it again, not necessary by choice, and begin to like the song a little more as u get something u didn't understand the first time. Third time you understand it a bit more and you begin to love it. What is it?

@pankaj1481 loving song and to be in love with a person are two different thing. It is also different from loving any street dog.Is is different from your liking for certain book, movie, song ,food, place, sports and many others which do not lock eyes with you.

@suripunj I agree with u .i was only trying to say that there is a fine line between love and habbit.Ur habbit can be ur love and vice versa.actually the world wouldn't be so interesting if two people agreed always agreed with each other. My view is that love is a serious emotion and it can't happen at just first sight.I think its just an attraction. It sounds strange that u need 3 months to know if it's love at first sight or not.If u keep on thinking about that person for three months, then u would definitely fall in love. That how love grows
