I was listening to my afternoon radio talk/music program a short while ago - and I heard something very interesting which I thought I would share. The host of the program made a startling point concerning the recent solar eclipse and hurricane Harvey. He pointed out that the solar eclipse occurred on August 21, 20 17 - and hurricane Harvey on August 25, 2017. He then drew attention to chapter 21 and verse 25 in the book of St. Luke : " And there shall be signs in the sun , and in the moon and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations , with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring" August 21 and 25 -- St Luke 21 verse 25. Food for thought?

@Kandae11 Yes, I would say amazing. Scary, too. I don't live in an area that's prone to disastrous weather but the other day it was quite dark here at 10:00 in the morning. It was raining but I've never seen it that dark so early in the day, rain or not.

Our calendar didn't exist when that was written. So, coincidence in my humble opinion.

Very possible, but could it be that it was seen beforehand that such a calendar would exist?

Coincidences. I think earth was always chaotic. We are getting closer to sun so poles are melting. There is nothing we can do about that. It is sun's gravitational pull. In fact, if humans have to survive, we have to stop wasting time fighting one another and start looking at alternate planets or moons for inhibiting, taking as much of our knowledge as we can, with us. There was gondwana land, right? Which broke? Then there was Atlantis, about which so much was written. There are cities buried under the sea, and Stonehenge that clearly indicates that people have lived here for real long time, and we know nothing about them.

@Kandae11 .. There is a probability that something somewhere will coincide.

I know there is a lot that has gone before, is going on now - and more to come, some of which we will never understand. However, I do think that the verse in the book of Luke and those dates are significant.

Well you figure if the moon can change the tides of the ocean, any outer event can cause problems @Kandae11 .

Is it coincidental? Or maybe just a warning or a sign for people to take care.

It seems very coincidental - but it is in the Bible - so that is food for thought.
