I just heard about the earthquake in Mexico.

Morning, friends. Not good, today, either. Just when we are still in worry about the path of the Hurricane Irma, Mexico has it´s biggest earthquake in over 100 years. It seems, up to now, that it has taken a lesser toll than the last big one in 1985 due to the epicenter. But still... it is an 8.2 Richter quake. Dear friend in Mexico, we are with you! Dear lotters, let us send our prayers and good vibes. It these cases we ask ourselves how could we help and we find out that we are so little that we can´t do much. I believe in the power of collective prayer: let us send our positive thinking towards Mexico.

@LadyDuck I have. And to think that only last year I went in July with my daughter and my 2 smaller grandchildren there. One of those stupid thoughts: I remembered today that we had taken the children to a butterfly farm

I learned this news from TV. 8.2 Richter quake is already very high. I also learned the Hurricane Irma news from TV. I hope people will stay safe. Nobody will know what happens since we haven't experienced such a big hurricane yet.

I just wish that people could be helped. It seems that in St. Martin the conditions are terrible. They don´t even have drinking water.

@Shavkat I am very scared of earthquakes. And I have heard that in this one the amount of deaths is more than what they thought at first.

I had not listened the news today, and I am just reading about it because of your discussion. 8.2 is terrible for a hearthquake, I hope that my Mexican friends are safe.

@rebelann It all needs prayers @rebelann If nature is not hurting us, then it is us who are destroying each other.

Yes, I also strongly believe in collective prayer. It seems like major disasters always come in bunches and we currently seem to be right in the middle of a very big bunch. There is no better time to pray than right now.

There seems to be some relationship between hurricanes & earthquakes (from past observations). Hope the damage was not too bad. Cross my fingers.

Oh that is a very big sad news to hear. It is He God who does what He wills, So God we are appealing to you to forgive us about the bad things we have been doing and have mercy on us especially our brothers and sisters in Mexico. Aemeen
