Animated Discussion?

I was playing with a site that allows static images to be chained together like a slideshow, but as a single "animated" gif file. I wonder if one such animation and myLot will play nicely together...? It appears they do, wow. What can I use it for? Google Photos offers something similar, here's its attempt, when I figure out where best to put it for display...

I am wondering if there is a restriction on the number of static images myLot will allow to be shown that way, pgn? Have you tried more than the three images? Uhm... why did you bother with an online site? My phone will string together static images into a GIF file.

@pgntwo The app on my phone is a sticky app. It came with the phone. That should be interesting... Please do post it when you get it finished. Unfortunately, I need to get some sleep, so I will have to come back tomorrow after work to see it. Have a good night!

I have not got an app on my OP3T that does that, as far as I know. The image editor on my previous HTC One mimi had more functionality than the default one on the 3T, but it lacked that feature as well, as I recall. I have a sequence of shots, all from the same vantage point, of aircraft lining-up to land at one of Heathrow's runways, I shall let the website loose on them and see what it looks like ;)

I don't use my phone to take pictures @DaddyEvil I have a Nikon camera, will that app work on a regular PC? OH, btw, do you know anything about the seagate expansion drives you sell? I need to find someone that can retrieve all my JPEG images I have stored on mine but the damn cord won't allow me access to it anymore.

There is an app for an Android phone, Ann. It is free in the App Store. It is called GIFFY App. Download it, open it and start snapping photos. The GIF maker lets you pick and choose the photos you want to use, lets you adjust them, add funny bits to them and saves the GIF to your default storage.

@rebelann Yup! GIFFY will run on your Windows pc! Here is a link explaining how to do that: Yes, I have one of the Seagate External Drives, Ann. I need to know a bit more about your problem. Does your pc find your Seagate Drive when you plug it in? Does your pc say/show your drive is inaccessible? Or does it show just an exclamation mark or question mark when you try to open your drive? All of these have fixes, but they are not the same fix. I need you to be more specific, please. I need to get up for work now, but will check in with you as soon as I get home tonight. Don't worry, we will have you fixed in not time!

Yes, they do work. Well, gifs are pieces of videos, not slideshows. It's hard to set a proper speed for slideshows. Some prefer to look at a picture for long, others want something faster. But the file you posted is animated. I'd prefer a "collage" in case of photos, gifs from videos are a little more complex because of copyright issues. Maybe if photos were very similar to each other, a slideshow gif would be okay for me.

@pgntwo That was a good question and experiment of yours, by the way. I took for granted GIFs wouldn't have worked here.

Yeah. I haven't found a good way of lining up each photo using the same reference point, such as the nose-wheel...
