Cooler Weather Means More Covers!

I have another list of "songs you may not know were covers" to fling on you. As it's getting cooler weather, it's the perfect time to discuss covers! Starting tomorrow I'll count down another ten songs that were hits...and cover songs. Surprises galore await!! As for this "teaser" song, it's not really a "cover" as much a "remake." Bob Welch's first solo -- and biggest -- hit was "Sentimental Lady" in 1977. But he'd also done the song with Fleetwood Mac on the Bare Trees album in 1972. I tend to prefer the original, mainly because he left the second verse out of the 1977 version. I'll be piling on those covers tomorrow! Hope you enjoy!
Studio version from the album, "Bare Trees" (1972).
