Isn't divorcing a sin

September 13, 2017 4:10am CST
I'm a little confused here, because of how divorce cases are so rampant these days.Even our dear men of God are not left out.The Bible says divorce is a sin, that whoever put away his wife and pick another has committed a sin but these days people are marrying and remarrying the same year. What's your thought on divorce, because I believe instead of people divorcing, they should try to sort out their problems which I know with God all things are possible.

It depends on the norms, tradition and beliefs of the community. There are communities that accepts divorce and there are some that condemning it. Personally, I agree with the idea of it because a relationship that only hangs with the thread of marriage will suffer a lot than when the thread is cut and let things happen.

Now it is more common. Religious beliefs apart, why be in a loveless marriage or when one partner ignores or spites another? siva

We don't have divorce here in our country but we have an annulment but I'm not sure. Actually, I don't know how this divorce thing made. It sounds like it's easy for other people to just left their partners if they're not happy anymore and get divorce easily. And I'm in the middle.

For you as a person isn't it wrong to marry and divorce to bring in a new woman to maltreat your children?

@augusta123 it's better to divorce than couple's fight and hate.islam gives 2 chances for the couple after divorce. If they divorce third time then they should not live together.we have strict rules and regulations if a woman maltreat, she will be deserve what she does.divorce is a undesirable matter.
