I have a funny story, I was born and raise up to be a Christian, my mom specially my dad open to us reading bibles and attend sunday schools, when I was still single I told to myself that I will look for a good name in the bible and I will named it to my first child, when I got married my husband and I wish to have a baby girl so we can name her Shekinah, unfortunately, during my trimester, we visit my OB and told us that we have a boy. When I was still pregnant with my first boy we dont have name for him yet, My husband wanted a name connected with his step brother Franze, and as I searched there is a name Louis which is a King in France, so okay we have a name for him already, But I asked my husband that he must have another name like Shadrach without any hesitatio he then agreed for that name. My due date is Oct 15, 2015 but i dont feel any pain, we decided to have dinner since it was also my dad's birthday, My mom and dad always touching and rubbing my belly and whispering to my baby boy that you are a blessing, dont let your mom hurt when she's in labor. We went back to my OB the next morning, I felt the pain, My doctor told me im in 4cm and, I need to get some things and be back after lunch. I waited for my husband that day, at the same time im still searching for the best name, I look for other terms for blessings. I get back to the names what my husband and I discussed. Finally, this is it im about to deliver my son, when Im resting the nurse handed to my husband the birth certificate, He then wrote, Shadrach Asher Louis. He got all the names. Shadrach means God-like (royal , or the great scribe ) the Hebrew, or rather Chaldee, name of Hananiah. The history of Shadrach or Hananiah, as told in Daniel 1-3 is well known. Asher means -happy and bless. Louis is- king of france (name sounds like his brother in franze)/Another term for napoleon (our dad's name) It was funny but a blessing indeed.

Hopefully, the child will later like all the names! What do you call your son?

@Llorakay Glad he got all his names. I had many names when I was born. I had a Hebrew and Yiddish name and English and middle name and last name. That was too much for me. So when I got married I decided to use a short version of my Hebrew name and then took my ex -husbands last name which he Hebrewized so now I have a short name and I am very happy with that. It was too much with all the names and not knowing which one to use when talked to people so now I just tell them my first name.
