Wait Until Dark - Who has seen the film?

I saw the play of this last week locally. Billed as a horror film starring Audrey Hepburn back in 1967, I think the film is meant to be scary. I found the lead villain in the play version being played in a very hammy Dr Evil kind of way resulting me not being remotely scared. Whilst I did enjoy the play, I wasn't sucked into it and absorbed. Is the actual film version worth seeing?

Yes it was. The lead character is blind.

I think I saw that many many many years ago. I recall the name. Did she play a blind person and someone thought he knew something and was trying to kill her? Tell me if i am right. If I am I do not remember how I remembered that. I saw the look on her face so thought that.

I would not call the film Horror,a Thriller actually.I have seen the movie and it is worth watching.Go ahead.
