Do star signs matter?

I sure it has been noticed that I am currently dating. I am always curious as to what a guy's star sign is. I'm a Taurus and I can normally pick up on fellow earth sign and water signs when I meet people in person. I've always tried to date according to whether the signs are compatible and judging how badly my relationships have turned out, maybe I shouldn't. I always think I am a typical Taurus as well. Anyone else here guess peoples' star signs or try to date astrologically compatible people?

I used to try to guess. I was always wrong..but I always got Scorpios to go out with..bad stings I tell ya.

@SerenityEngel Why reduce people to star signs? I know two women who are as old as I am. We were born on the same day in the same year. We should have a lot in common, shouldn't we? Yet, we don't.

Never even paid attention to any of that other than to know I am Aries. Not sure what that means.
