Ben Carson Brings America Together

In my column, I have been promoting the idea that we need to tone down the rhetoric which is leading to violence, and begin a serious and rational discussion about public policy. HUD Secretary, Dr. Ben Carson is one statesman who agrees with me and lives according to this philosophy. Here is how he explained it. In an appearance in Louisiana Carson said, " We're spending so much time fighting each other when we have real enemies in this world who are acquiring the means to destroy us. We are being distracted by fighting ourselves while this is gong on." What do you think of Dr. Carson's remarks? Do you agree or disagree?

I agree with him but what is very sad that the ones that are dividing us do not get it or do not see what is really going on.

Ben Carson is wise. America would do well to listen to him. Our politicians would do well to seek his advice and follow his example.
