I just got the message

I was sitting here minding my own business and mylotting away when there was a big roar of thunder and the lights went out. When I reached over for the flashlight the lights came back on. The wind is now howling and I can here the tree scraping against my living room outside wall. I am taking that as a message that it is time to shut things off for the night. And that is just what I am going to do. I wish everyone a wonderful night/day and happy myLotting. I will see you all tomorrow. Smiles to everyone. Are you smiling?

I am smiling. I couldn't be happier right now. I found a new suit on Amazon and I will have it by the middle of next week. That means I will be back in the pool on Thursday. We had storms here last night too. According to the weather this morning we got .45 inches. I hope it wasn't too bad by you.

@velvet53 It's mainly black but has some diagonal striping across the abdomen in purple and white I think. Purple for sure. It might have two other colors with it. I can't remember, but it's very pretty.

@velvet53 our country is near the equator. the sun's rays directly hit us, especially my place since my city has the highest and hottest recorded temperature in our country in 1964.

I hope your stormy weather passed quickly without doing any damage. Bed is the best place to be during thunder and rain. You can always cover up your head with a pillow.

@velvet53 It has been cold and white, still is but a lot of ground is starting to get green. I'm sick of winter, we went south for a couple of weeks but the cold now is just as bad as before I left. Spring is just around the corner - thankfully.

That is the best thing to do. The lights came back on and the storm moved on except for the wind. I like to light up candles and read or crochet by them when I lose my power.
