Bill Payment and Shopping Day

I love payday. And this month even more. When I went online to check my balance this morning, I found I had a whole lot less in the bank than I anticipated after having helped out my son on Sunday. So today was a long awaited payday.
I also needed to go to the bank because I needed to update payment information for one of my bills I pay with bill pay. I found out a few things. Chase doesn't like Chrome. And as for the Equifax hack, the hackers can't get your account numbers from the credit service, so your banking info is safe. I also learned that the bank takes care of any fraud situations, so I have no need to worry about my bank information.
From there I went grocery shopping. My fridge and freezer were almost down to nothing and I was having a hard time coming up with meals with almost nothing for food, so now my freezer is bulging and my fridge also looks good. I'm hoping it all lasts a month, or at the minimum - two weeks. I'm only one person, so everything is portioned out and in freezer bags, giving me more meals. I also found whole turkeys in the store. So I got a small one - all they had for right now anyway.
Then home, put everything away, and got the banking info taken care of on Firefox since the bank doesn't like Chrome and that is now taken care of. No more problems when it comes time to pay the cable bill, which I should get soon. Everything else is paid.
I also went online looking for a new swimsuit this morning. My suit is now way to big. I refuse to pay full price for a suit. No sales. My membership is also due at the Y, but I'm going to let that expire until I can get a new suit. The one I have is almost obscene, it's so big on me now. Yea weight loss!
Now for the really good news. For over a year I've needed to use the mobile cart at Wal-Mart due to my knees and weight. There weren't any available when I got there so I was forced to use a regular cart. Yea! I had no problems with my knees or my lower back as I went through the store getting what I needed. So this weight loss and diet is seeing some progress in that department as well. And that's just after a month and a half on the diet. Yea! Go Me! I didn't even sit down and rest when I got home but got all the groceries taken care of before I came to the computer. I'm still feeling like I could go another round of the store, but I'm not going to push my luck. I'm just going to sit here and interact while my body fully recharges.
I did let my friend at the pool know I wouldn't be back until I had a new suit. I hope that will be soon.

Yay! Go you is right! You must feel so good and much healthier right now. This isn't the best time of year to find a bathing suit on sale, but I hope you find one soon, so you can keep up your exercises. We make multiple trips per week to the farmers market for fresh fruit and veggies. Thank goodness it's on the way home.

@just4him You know how excited I am for you on your weight loss. It will only bring good things and good health to you. I remember both your bathing suits. It's worth the price tossing them out and buying smaller sizes. lol
Soon our farmers market will close for the season, but we have a few health food stores that sell excellent imported fruits and veggies. We will only need them until we go to Florida. I just hope the hurricane didn't thwart too many of the local farmers there. We eat locally grown foods when we are down there. After the wedding, I'm going to need a huge diet!

@DianneN I don't know about huge, but I'm sure you will need to consider taking off a few pounds after all the wedding food you've already indulged in and what you will eat the night of the wedding.

I do feel much better. I hope I have a new suit soon as my weigh in is coming up on the same day your son is getting married. When I looked at the two pictures for the last weigh in, I really thought there has been more of a change, so I can't wait to get that picture taken too just to see if my eyes are deceiving me or not, but considering the swimsuit is now really big on me, I think the scale is going to be very friendly.
I'm glad the farmers market is on your way home. I love fresh fruits and vegetables. I didn't always say that about vegetables, but fresh is a lot better than canned. Soon all those will be gotten from the frozen department as they get lean in the produce aisle. I'm already seeing a lot of squash there.

I'm amazed at how your weight loss has given you more energy and mobility. That's awesome!! Hope you can find a new bathing suit on sale because at the rate you're losing weight the new one will be too big soon too

Have you tried amazon for suits?
Love when all bills are paid, or close to it. We only owe $38 on our cable bill til the new one comes out. So we arent worried about paying it now.

Too bad You couldn't find a nice marked down swimming suit. I would think they would be on sale at the end of summer. Congratulations on the weight loss. I haven't had a new suit in a few years but the ones I have don't look too bad. I can imagine how good it feels to walk without pain. Keep on trucking.

I bet you were glad to get this info from the bank. All is secure. Congrats on the weight loss. Glad you are feeling so much better. And needing a new suit. Good for you!

It is only 7 in the morning here on the islands so nothing much exciting going on. I am here for a few minutes with coffee because I wasn't here yesterday. I was busy and went fishing last night with my 2 friends. We had a blast. One of my friend's husbands dropped a pizza off at the beach for us to eat. It was so much fun and we laughed so much last night.
Wow you are making real progress on this diet. That is amazing and you are doing so well. I am happy and hope that you can find your new swim suit soon. Many stores should have sales now considering summer is over.

It really was. I felt it yesterday afternoon, so I'm glad I didn't do more than I did. Today, I'm almost back to normal, still a little sore in the knees.
