The Frenzy for The Globe Rewards!

When I opened Facebook today, my cousin posted a picture with long lines of customers at Marks and Spencers and they were there to buy with their Globe rewards.
Globe is a local company of phone service provider. They gave out points for Globe customers and you can use them to eat at KFC and buy at Mark & Spencers and a lot more.
I was actually at KFC last night to also eat using my Globe rewards. I didn’t notice that for every point you get 2 pesos or $.04 for it and it’s the last day for the times 2 pesos for every point so there are a lot of customers too.
Since hubby is still at their office working, I just bought him a take-out and another for me. I ate there too since I am already famished.
And I ate their Shawarma burritos, snowball, fried chicken, and fries. Hubby was so happy with my take-out for him when he arrived home.
Have you got rewards too for any of your service providers? Or coupons as many are posting about, for those from other countries.

Oh I want to try their shawarma. Yesterday, I can't wait because it would take 15 minutes before they can serve my order. So I opted for Twister.

The shawarma burrito is good and very filling, I was able to eat only half of it and took out the half. However, they don't have hot sauce. I should have liked it to be spicy, though it has a bit of spiciness, but I like it a bit spicier.
McDo and KFC don't have hot sauce. But Jollibee has. It's their edge over them.

@jobelbojel But not all Bicolanas are fond of spicy foods. The seniors at home, my MIL and aunt in law, cannot tolerate spicy foods anymore.
I thought the taste doesn't change as one grows older.

@ridingbet Usually it's KFC that Globe is tied up with in this kind of their rewards.

My postpaid plan has been with globe for 12 years but before that I already had a prepaid from Globe but of course I discarded it when I became a postpaid subscriber. So I've been with globe I think since 1998. I've always loved their postpaid plans and the service they have given me. Every complain I made were answered and in fact, sometimes compensated.
I remember when they failed to deliver my iPhone and I waited for two months, I complained a lot, and they gave me two months to not pay my bill.

@toniganzon There's one here in a big and new mall in Legazpi city. It was formerly in another mall, but when this new mall started it was trasnferred there.

Wow, you are far more a longer client than me. I am just a client for five years and I am a satisfied user too.
Although, sometimes their internet is slow. Or maybe because my freebie internet has lower mbps?
Your plan is high, because you have the iPhone.
I am waiting since August 21 for my new phone, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro. It's out of stock and a lot is in line waiting too.

@hereandthere Yes. I have a load allowance of 500 from my boss so I git a postpaid plan for that. But now that I will be renewing my plan, the lowest if 599. So, have no choice but to still take it.
I like beingon postpaid because I can always call and text withut getting worried that I will be out of load.

Actually, my hubby and I also avoid those fastfood joints. However, this offer will go to waste if we don't use it. We just compensated for its being unhealthy, by eating veggie salad at home. The next morning, I did a 30-minute exercise before preparing for work.

@epiffanie Wow, that is nice ! Sometimes, they do have those coupons too, for Jollibee. But I like McDo more. What I only like at Jollibee is their hot and spicy chickenjoy.

Were you not texted by Globe rewards that you have such amount of points and it can be used to pay a meal at KFC or purchase something from Mark & Spencers?
They text to you your accumulated phones and you will show that to the cashier to pay. Ours had a double your points for 3 days, so we have to consume it witinh the 3 days.

Well we too have reward points from credit card companies like Standard Chartered, American Express, ICICI Bank, and from departmental stores like Big Bazaar or Hypercity. Then other outlets like Pantaloons, Landmark etc too have their points programme inducing people to spend more and help empty their pockets.

And those are their own marketing strategies.
They are good in a way that the subscribers feel they get a "real reward" when all the while they are to make you spend more so to earn that reward.

It says that we have a rewards of this much and you can use them at Mark & Spencers, KFC or other stores. Since KFC is the only mentioned store here, I used it there.
The sales clerk will ask to see the message, then get the phone number and text Globe about it that you used this amount. Then Globe will text you that your only remaining rewards are this and that. I used them all since it will be expiring that day already.
