I have one rule when night come, all of the 6 kids must be inside the house when 8pm hit. I have no problem with the younger kids because they are not yet to socializing but the older kids are the law breaker. Of course there is exception to the rule, if they can prove its for their school and for their church the rule can bend for them. Just like tonight, our 16 year old daughter and our adopted child went to the Youth Night of their church. I let them go as long as they'll tell the truth of there whereabouts.

Rules and regulations are important in one household. Without it, it can break family. Glad you validated the reason. For Jesus' glory! Amen!

yeah, it's harder when they're older, and sometimes, you feel the need to check if they really went there by asking/verifying with other people.

It is really dangerous to let the kids out at night these days! At least they should text you if they were already at the venue, and when they are about to go home.

Yeah, I'm not too strict for them as long as they let me know of their whereabouts.

This is really a very good rule, everyone in the family needs to have dinner or at least a meal on a day together :)

Yes that is true. Though this is not always being followed at least they must comply with their best.

I think we need to set some rules for their safety. If they follow that's better but If they broke the rules they will get their warning.
