A discussion here today reminded me of a radio announcer, Tim Lihoreau, on a UK national station. He has a knack for finding "doubles", pictures of famous people in poses where one person closely resembles another. Sometimes, the likenesses are uncanny, as with the first pair in the upper half of the photo above. Have you seen any such unlikely, yet similar, pairings? Oh, and just for divilment, he swaps the names around, so you look twice - clever trick, that, must try it sometime.

I've seen some pictures of cats in pinup girl poses... I think that Kevin looks more like Jack Benny in that photo.

That's very good! Sometimes he releases a photo of a famous person and their "pet", who they resemble, too.

@pgntwo And now that I look at your pics again, I think the labels are reversed, and the one labeled Neil is actually Kevin, and vice versa... Neil Simon is 90 years old after all so that would be a vintage photo of him, and the one labeled Kevin does have a vintage look about it.

I know a couple of guys who resemble each other (and no, they aren't related) closely enough that I became friends with the second guy because I kept thinking he was my original friend. (Apparently, the second guy thought I was lonely/harmless so decided to humor me/play along with my delusions the first few times I made the mistake.) I didn't realize anything was amiss, other than my friend kept forgetting things we had been talking about. I suggested he should make an appointment to see what was causing his memory lapses, but he kept telling me his memory was fine, but he was definitely beginning to think I had some problems

! We all finally figured out what was happening/had happened when we all ended up at the same restaurant at the same time... It was really funny! I have a cousin who has the same first and last name as me. (His middle name is Franklin and my middle name is Earl.) We

look enough alike that neither one of our moms could tell for sure which one they were talking to until one of them wised up to our games and told the other one

. Then they each started asking us to remember something for them. When they thought we were playing games, they would ask what it was we were remembering for them... Of course, they each ask us to remember different things, so caught us that way. SMH! (We couldn't figure out how they could know which one of us was which until his mom finally confessed a few years ago.) (Just for sh*ts and giggles, one of the photos I posted on myLot was actually a photo of him, not me. Nobody here noticed, so I never said anything until now.

Where does that sh*ts and giggles expression come from, I wonder? It's a bit like bang for buck, but cruder. Very funny about the two lookalikes where one was a friend and the other became one later.

Nope. No, yes! My favourite actress EVER is Claire Danes and there's another actress - Mia Whatserface - who looks exactly the same. They could be sisters. But they aren't.

I've seen people who greatly resemble actors. I even had a landlord once that looked just like Bart Starr the NFL quarterback of the 1960's for the Green Bay Packers.

Yes, the names are always exchanged when he releases a photo pair - so Stephen Fry is actually the lower right photo too. He's a card, is Tim Lihoreau.
