A fun lesson with kindergarten

Today I had the kindergarteners try playing a scale up and down with those colorful handbells I posted a picture of the other day. There are only seven kindergarteners, which is an unusually low number in our school (usually there are 15-20, and 25-30 first graders) but it was really nice because they are pretty much all well behaved. Because there are eight notes in a scale, I played a bell too. (That was fun.) They are very smart kindergarteners and caught on very quickly. We switched bells so they all a chance to play every bell. When I left class I was so happy. I thought, "I have the best job in the world." Do you ever think that? I have the best job, family, friends, etc. in the world? What made you think that?
