Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome, the new term used by those educated in Forensic Psychology. I was watching Special Victim's Unit tonight. It is one of the Law & Order series that also includes, Law and Order, Law and Order-SVU, and others as well, each with their own special cast of characters and in-depth subject matter. There is a lot to be recognized by current medical and psychology research that suggests Post Trauma can occur in many people under many different circumstances, not just being a combat veteran or a victim of rape, but in today's world, even every day life with all it's bad news and current social trends and environmental and political unbalances there will be more cases of this type of human condition that may end up becoming the NEW NORMAL.

Used to watch Law & Order every evening, until they changed to SVU. The kids got frightened, and that was that.
