Are you religious and believe in fasting to make satisfied our god Allah? Our life is a gift from he and our little dedication would be his favorite. Fasting is also good for health and its proven by wise health specialists and scientists. I enjoy keep fasting, though hardly get chance for it for busy life. Do you keep fast?

Are you allowing yourself some clear soups? I participated in a Tashlich with the kids on Wednesday, but am not fasting for Yom Kippur.

When you are fasting; are you allowed to drink any water. Fasting is something I know very little about.

@TheHorse before having it there are many scared but if you try once it brings more peace for body inside out, I keep this when I was probably six years old girl. I have a good practice so I never feel tired, thirsty and exhausted for this even I feel much more better for longer.

Fasting can be both religious and for health reasons. Our religion doesn't require us to fast and in fact we are discourage to do fasting when our spirit is weak. Some people fast for health reasons. There are healthy buffs who fast for a day to remove the toxins in their body.

I don't fast for religion, but I know it has good properties for health. It helps to recover the body. In fact, when we're sick, we tend to not be hungry. Our body knows what to do. The one I practice the most is intermittent fasting, especially when you sleep for more than 10 hours, it's easier to be done. You only have to fast for 12 hours, and you can include the hours of sleep. Well, that's a thing.

I'm pretty deeply religious, but fasting is not a part of my routine.
