A tasty snack

Simple foods lots of times are best. My husband and I made a batch of pita bread rounds with whole wheat flour the other day. We froze some for later. I took one yesterday and put a mixture of canned white northern beans mixed with fresh homemade salsa on top.
It was that simple. The bean & salsa mixture on top of the pita round. The salsa was seasoned perfectly and the whole thing was very tasty.
I should have taken a picture of it but didn't think about that.
Do you think up simple recipes that end up being better than you anticipated?

Yes. There are some dishes that are simple and turn out a lot better than some that are difficult to put together.

We do love pita bread too .. we use it for pizza base or wrapped sandwich ..

I agree, I don't like recipes with too many ingredients in them. I always make simple meals at home and I think they taste much better!

I do not.. I just make the bake goods we buy, or have already made snacks like chips or cookies.

I do like cookies. I think my favorite are the original chips ahoy chocolate chip. What is your favorite cookie?

Thanks for the idea that does sound good. Being on my own I prefer to making simple snacks instead of making myself meals.
