Frugal living helps me to save money at home even though it may sounds crazy. When I use facial foams, toothpaste, shampoo or mayonnaise, I would usually squeeze them till the last drop. I don't waste any tiny bit of it. When you use the toothpaste, do you press from the bottom to the top? When you had squeezed it till the tube becomes thin, do you squeeze again or use a hammer to bam the tube until the final drop of toothpaste comes off from the tube? Yup I do that! How about shampoo? Do you refill with water after the shampoo doesn't flows out anymore? You can use another week of shampoo with the refill mixture! As for facial foam, after squeeze it till the last drop, I would open up the top tube, cut off the tube, use a plastic spoon to scoop out the remainder foam and rub my face with it. If I use soap bar, I would use it until it breaks into small pieces and dissolve into the water! Now that it what I call frugal living tips! Use till the last drop! Do you do any of these crazy frugal living tips? My photo: soap bar broken into small pieces

The truth is we don't. When I was in high school I slept over at a friend's house and I was surprised how the squeezed out the lat drop in the toothpaste. It was my first time to see it done that way. Then in another friend's house I saw how they added hot water in the bottle of ketchup when there was very little left. That amazed me too!

@peachpurple Me neither. It was just something we don't do in our home even when I was still with my parents.

Yes, I do all and then some. Frugal living is essential with the rising prices of commodities and goods and the shrinking value of our salaries.

I do some of them, with the bar soap as I use the same kind all the time (just reminded me, I need to order more..lol) I will get to a little sliver get another bar out, get them both wet and put the small on the big and it melds together. I add water to the end of my shampoos, hubby drains his into another container and mixes them. Yep we are cheap. I do go from bottom to top and try to squeeze it all out, I don't use a hammer on it thou..lol I figure everyday I don't have to buy another item all adds up!

The toothpaste and facial foam thing, yes. Shower gel/cream...no. I like the foam thick and not watery

All I do is squeezing the toothpaste from the bottom to the top. When the shampoo doesn't flow, I hit, turn it upside down and wait. For some minutes. But I guess water works better.
