Yes, it is still hot. The chocolate batter has a leftover and so I was able to make 6 cupcakes for me and my hubby. I am invited to a birthday party of the friend of my best friend. I don't know what to give her for a present and so I baked this moist chocolate cake for her. The celebration tomorrow is for my friends friend birthday and her 1 year old son. I have met this woman in my friends house and she was talking about how she missed the moist chocolate cake. I will still decorate the cake tomorrow morning. I hope the celebrants and her visitors will like it. October 3 is also my fathers' birthday. He could be 83 this year but sad to say he passed away last April. I am glad I was there last year at home to make a program for his birthday party celebration with the family. I never thought it was his last birthday celebration. There is another celebration for the 3rd of October. It is a holiday in Germany. Reunification of the West and East of Germany. No work at all. Is there a celebration in your family or your country this 3rd of October? Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a blessed month of October. Good Night!

Thank you @TiarasOceanView. I am still mourning though no one noticed it as I hide my tears at night time when I remember him. Happy birthday to your son. I wish him all the best in life. Thanks. The cake was indeed deliciously moist. Yummy!

Yes, they loved it @Letranknight2015. It was the best moist cake I have ever baked. The 10 years old son of my friend even asked his mother if he could bring a slice of that cake when they go home. I heard when he asked and I told him that I still have that moist chocolate cake at home but I have baked them in the cupcakes form. Those were the leftover batter. They brought me home anyway and the boy got 5 moist chocolate cupcakes from me. He was happy. I wonder if he shared those cupcakes with his elder brother

I forgot that the 3rd of October is the Reunification in Germany, it seems yesterday and so many years have already passed. Nothing to celebrate here on the 3rd of October.

Yes, already many years have passed by @LadyDuck. It seems that it was only yesterday when the Berlin wall fell down.

My father passed away last April this year. I miss him. Sorry to hear your loss, too @just4him. I was at the birthday party yesterday and I brought the chocolate cake with me to give to the celebrant.

No celebrations here on October 3rd. Next Monday (October 9th) is the observation of Columbus Day, but that's not really celebrated. Government offices get the day off and the mail doesn't run. Everyone else has to work and go to school.

We were inbetween holidays on Oct 3rd so nothing to celebrate but get ready for the last part of our holidays around this time of year. A chocolate cake is a great idea. What kind of frosting will you put on it? It looks delicious. Enjoy the party.
