My recent visit to Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is a small island country in Indian Ocean. Popularly known as “ land of gems” . indeed it is ! But Sri Lanka has much more to offer other than gems! Bentota, Nuwara Ellya, Kandy, Colombo .. every district of Sri Lanka has something different to offer ! Absolutely scenic! Absolutely beautiful ! One can only get lost in its tranquility! Traveling Sri Lanka is not only fun but very economical too as compared to other countries in Asia . People here are really good and cooperative! Offers both vegetarian and non vegetarian choice for food! Shopping could be fun if one has knack for bargaining!

Best part cost could be reduced drastically even lesser than 1200usd for two persons if one just change mode of travel n accommodation! It's a country for all budget group!

Well my approx cost was 1300USD for two people travelling together including everything for a week! Even I hv luxury vehicle for first 5 days for entire period! Basically 4 star accommodation I hv only at Colombo I had 3 star accommodation! I enjoyed river rafting, casinos, local area and it's all sight seeing..

English is commonly spoken. Even some speak Tamil too.. However majority speak sinhala..

One could consider Sri Lanka at least once! It's a small island yet it has so much to explore!
