Do you think we need to lower taxes for the middle class?

In the new Tax reform proposal, they say the middle class guy might actually in some cases get taxed more. While the president of these United States said in a speech that he would suffer from the tax reform what exactly did he mean when George asked and never got an answer as to when and if Trump will release his tax statements to the public? https://www.nytimes.com/2017/09/27/us/politics/trump-tax-cut-plan-middle-class-deficit.html
In Indiana, President Trump began an intense push to slash taxes and salvage what is left of his foundering legislative agenda in Congress.

I say lower taxes for all on every level (I'm serious) and politicians who are basically all rich anyway should not get one cent salary or expense accounts. Paying their own way might teach them something.

Yet they need private jets to travel. What a joke, I mean if you are going to rob the tax payer, rob the tax payer right. So many other ways I would rob the tax payer than going look how important I am, I have my own private jet. That is like robbing yourself while robbing the tax payer.

@crossbones27 The private plane thing kills me. I remember reading Nancy Pelosi always flies herself and family on the taxpayer's dime when her husband is a millionaire.

@crossbones27 After 9/11, Prez Bush ordered more secure transportation for cabinet members and the Speaker of the House.

I think my brother is actually right about something no taxes to anyone who makes 50,000 or under. They did a study, believe it was Nation Geographic, saying if people make 75,000 a year. They have all the money they need. With inflation that may have went up slightly depending on where you live, but think it sounds right. People just greedy and think that is not enough

middle class is shrinking :
The poor and the rich now outnumber the middle class. For the first time in forty years, the middle class is no longer the majority in America. The rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting...

I think the middle class and anyone below needs lower taxes, but the GOP plan is the same old "trickle down" stuff that will never work and never has. Lowering the corporate to 20% will do more to fatten the bloated wallets of the wealthy and drain the treasury, than create jobs. Corporations are already sitting on piles of cash that could be reinvested if they were interested.

My opinion is that I always get ripped, no matter who the Prez is at the moment, they all PROMISE to lower taxes and it never happens. I paid the most taxes ever the last two years. Small businesses need the breaks, Walmart/ Target, Trump motels/ Hilton and the like should have to pay more because they are not small or even medium, but giants.

I think the whole tax system should be rethought. Here in Latvia the system is completely haywire and it's like people get robbed every time tax time comes around.

That would be just the way things would turn out since the people are always being taken advantage of by the authoritative governments to meet their prime directive to make the government more powerful and the people more dependent and subservient.
