The Massacre in Las Vegas

Horrible situation. I have been reflecting upon the massacre and have come to some obvious conclusions. First, the shooter was targeting the music festival. In my opinion, he did not have a problem with Las Vegas or the Mandalay Casino Hotel. He was aiming for the music festival and the attendees. I also believe that organized crime of some kind was involved. He had many jobs over his lifetime but a sort of mish mash. He never held one job for any length of time with any one organization or company. So how did he end up so affluent? How did he make all his money? He had to be involved in some kind of criminal operation. How about you? Any thoughts on the situation?
