Today I read many topics about God. Some people and I am included, do not believe in any gods. So I ask : What is your opinion about people that do not believe in God ? And What is your opinion about people that do not share your belief in God, but instead believe in another god/ belongs to another religion ?

I always respect people's religion whether it is the same as mine or not. I'd like to think that I wanted them to respect mine as I respect theirs. I don't have any problem with people having their own belief. But for those that do not believe in God, not having a supernatural being. I feel sorry for them. I think we need a God in our life to direct us in the right path.:)+

Okay, but do you think that someone who does not have belief in any Gods cannot follow the right path?

I think that everyone has a right to believe in what they want. I am going through a time which I have some serious doubts about god. I am seriously thinking of studying the Wiccan religion, but I'm not even sure about that. I do not dislike anyone who has different beliefs than me.

Thanks for your answer. See this is the point. You have no problem respecting other people´s belief, but some people here think that they are the ONLY owners of truth, their gods are the only ones, so I started this discussion, hoping that I can understand why this happen. And good luck with your studies of Wiccan Religion.

I don't believe in God either, but so far on this site I've encountered some acceptance and/or interest, but also a fair amount of horror, jugment, pity, condenscension, and juvenille needling. It's nice to meet someone else who shares my skepticism. I think we're heavily outnumbered.

Thanks for your answer. I have to agree with you, and I would add one thing that I will never understand, that is the use of lies to preach the word of their gods. Why do they have to use lies? (even a photo was told to make miracles!!).

Im past a belief or mere faith. But i will give you a legit answer. You have choice, we all have choice to believe what we believe. Obviuosly only one belief will end up being the correct one and we wont know untill we die now will we? I am sadend also to see so many abuse a name. or a religion, so many tarnish something they claim yet know nothing about. You are entitled to your opinion and everyone elses to there own, does this justify childesh behaviour on any aspect? By no means. Everyone has alot of maturing to do, religious and not.

I'm not sure exactly what I believe in. I do know that I'm NOT Christian. My husband is athiest. My belief is too each there own. My problem is with people who judge others for their beliefs. Don't judge me because I'm not your religion. And don't judge me because I don't have the same beliefs as you. I've noticed that there is a lot of intolerance on this site, whether it's because of your religion or where you are from.

all of us only have 1 religion. Muslim also believes in jesus, in just a different sense. jews believe in jesus as a prophet not as a divine. protestants believe in god but didn't like the way the church runs christianity. other religions such as jehovah's witness, born again believe in jesus but dont believe in saints and mary. other religions such as shintoism, hinduism also have gods. all religions have gods and a HIGHER BEING, who they consider as superior.. what's the difference is the VALUEs and TRADITIONS involved. people who dont believe, have their own opinions on the matter at hand. its their life after all. i dont judge people just because they're muslim or an atheist.

hey jricbt....I do belive in GOD...but not the way.....that he is some human form with BIG gray beard and long robe sitting somewhere in heaven and keeping an eye on us and our deeds. God do exsist....but we still have to find the way how he exsists....and we still will take ages to find out the real him, whether he is actually in human form or in some toher form... I belive in spirituality....cuz i strongly belive that we all have evolved from same soul....cut out of the same unversal material.....we all are made of same atoms and molecules...we all have same shape of heart and brain....we all are born same way and die same....gravity works same equally on all humans....rains do not wet different people differently... We all speak same language of love, tears, sadness, happiness, we all share same color of blood...our genes are same, except few bases here and there... nature is not biased towards any human being...for that matter towards any religion... I feel pity on people who fail to see this....I thnk somewhere they are scared to face the truth.....they know their faiths are going to get scaterred big time...thats why they do not want to question anything....they becum defensive big time...when you question them or their beleif... For those people who change their religion, i find them biggest fool on this earth....I feel there only motive was to find salvation by changing their religion!!!! Anyways no offence to anybody......

I can't believe none of you internet infidels haven't heard of this... how much ignorance there is in the world! "Yaar" is a word from the language of the flying spaghetti monster in the sky - he who rules over us all - he who must be worshipped and he who must be obeyed. Long live the Pastafarians! or in Pastafarian: Yaar yaar yaar yaar, yardy yar yar, yardy yardy yar!

I have no ill will toward atheists. People are free to believe what they wish. I do feel they are mistaken but I don't have anything against them for thinking the way they do. I feel the same way about people who believe in a different god. For both kind of God I pray that God reveal himself to them in a very real way.

I don't follow any religion either, but I also don't have anything against people who do - except when that religion causes some kind of harm to them or to anyone else around them.

I was indoctrinated to believe in god from infancy and as a child I read the Bible every day. I prayed for god to send me an angel but when none arrived I became suspicious. Then I started to look for evidence for god but I never found any. Then I studied physics, history, biology, psychology, and read the works of Aristotle, Nietsche, Darwin, George Orwell, Stephen Hawkins and Richard Dawkins amongst others. And I soon came to the conclusion that God does not exist. I meet so many people who believe in different types of god. Most of my friends believe in god and I don't really have a problem with this. The problem arises when there are various rules and texts associated with a particular religion that is devoted to a particular god and these are then used to indoctrinate the minds and manipulate the behaviour of children or vulnerable people.
