Fake Names, Fake Profiles, Fake Friendship and Fake News

Facebook is a superbly useful social media. I need not write an essay to describe it, for users already know its ins and outs. I am rather a new and less literate user of the media vehicle, which is no less than magic. However I wish to speak of another magic people use FB for performing. Have you found fake names, fake profiles and fake accounts in facebook? And I have heard of fake news too. Have you come across them?

Yes, I have fake facebook accounts wanting to be my friend, I just ignore them and delete their requests. It is amazing how many fake accounts are out there.

I have a facebook account but I mainly use it to keep in contact with family members and friends. Also, to promote my blog posts and affiliate products. Sometimes I do get tired of it though. You can tell that some people are just pretending and be making up stuff. There are so many attention seekers on there it isn't even funny. It can make you sick sometimes.

Yes all the time there will be fake pages that people make and fake news is all over the place.

Pen name is your second name so when you use it for safety it is a good idea.

Fake profiles are rampant nowadays. I'm glad I don't have a Facebook account.

Yes I hardly am friends with anyone really as I never believe any of those profiles on there. Good luck on Facebook. And I hope you are safe online there.

Fake accounts are very common. Its purposes are various. This activity is engaged in by stalkers and the sketchy. It is used by those who are just trying to be nosey and check up on others and get some dirt on them. Also, legitimate investigators use these tactics when seeking out the above.
