Dreams are super fascinating stuffs. I really love them, they are few of those things which help you realize that there is something beyond you, above you and keep us grounded. having said that, i don't think i'm dreaming with my soul, rather i'm making a wish, and like @cahaya said, its a longing and not dreaming.
