One More Coloring Page

I decided that maybe I could share one coloring page per week and that way I won’t be overloading mylot with coloring pages. I’m really happy that so many persons have enjoyed seeing some of my artwork though. It makes me glad that I have something that I can share that can be enjoyed by others.
Also, a few of you might want to try coloring now that you see what can be accomplished. It’s not TRUE artistry, because you simply color a pattern that has been created by someone else, but still it takes some talent to choose the right colors and it also takes patience and concentration to color the intricate details of the design.
I decided that every FRIDAY, I will post a new coloring page, starting today.
I would also encourage others to post their designs.

Yes, now that I'm retired, I have found several things to do during the day. I don't watch a lot of TV and once I get my housework done, I do a lot of different things. Coloring is just one of the things that I do. I also am practicing the keyboard and I am writing another novel (I have already published one novel) and I collect post cards since I joined Postcrossing.com
I've also been working on my family ancestry and putting together photo albums for my brothers and for my children. I write a lot of poetry and I love to sing. So, you can see that I stay busy.

I've thought about it, but I haven't done it yet. Actually, I could get my grandson to draw some things. He is very good at that. He mainly likes to draw action figures, like Spider Man and Superman, but he can draw most anything. Thanks for the suggestion.

I am hoping that others will be motivated to show off their artwork or needlework or other things that they have made. One person showed some woodworking projects several months ago and it was beautiful. I haven't seen any more from him for a while now.

I don't actually draw the picture. I only color it. The drawing is done be someone else and I have purchased several of the "adult" coloring books. They are similar to a child's coloring book but more difficult.
I think peacocks are beautiful, so I have many of them that I have finished and will be posting them in the future.

@allen0187 What I do is work with just one color at a time. Maybe about a half hour per day while I listen to the news. And if I'm watching a TV show, I color during the commercials. Hah!

Thank you! I just got into it in the past few months and I'm really enjoying it. I have learned a lot about it from trying different things and now I'm fairly well indoctrinated into the right methods to get the best results. It was a learning process however. Some of my earlier attempts were not so good.

@just4him Yes, I think its FUN and relaxing. And I never know what I will actually end up with. I choose my colors as I progress along with the coloring and it usually works out well. I usually start with RED and then BLUE and then add other colors as I go along.

I like your choice of colors, alice. They all pop beside each other. I haven't colored any page in a long time! Maybe i should go back to my coloring books one of these days.

I try to use bright colors that go well together. I never really know what colors I will use when I start on a page but I choose as I progress with the project. Sometimes I am puzzled about what colors to use, but so far, I have managed to choose the right colors. Except for one picture. I don't have a flesh colored gel pen and I tried to use a pink for a woman's face and it did not turn out well. Her face looked sunburned so I never completed that one.
