After quitting my job in June to work from home, which was horrible, terrible, terrible idea! I had no idea how "at the bottom" I would start making money. And by at the bottom, I do mean that my first actual paying job was here on my lot. But nearly four months later I finally got a job doing data transcription. Because $20 per audio hour sounded like the best idea ever. Yesterday was the first day that I gave it my full attention. The jobs are sporadic, but I would imagine I was actually typing for upwards of seven hours. I made $12. Now, keep in mind that I did decide after realizing that mylot is more of a sounding post/social network than an actual bill paying endevour, I have been looking for outside jobs for about two months. I had my first interview yesterday and I have one this afternoon. So, dear mylotters, please cross your fingers, say your prayers, whatever ritual you see fit, if you may, that after today my bank account can have hopes of getting out of the red.
