Who is the most iconic villain in horror movies?

The horror genre is full filled with them (always with bizarre stories, na outstanding presence and a lot of blood on the part of the victims) and you certainly have your favorite (even if horror movies are not your favorites).
Who would be the chosen one?

I am an old horror movie fan and I wouldn't mind spending Halloween with Drac, the Wolfman, the Mummy and the Invisible Man. Oh, yes and I almost forgot Frankenstein. For that reason I also love the two animated movies Hotel Transylvania.

For me, it is Dracula. If we talk about modern horror stories, I'm going with Freddie from the Nightmare on Elm Street series.
